Hi Loves, two of the major trends for Fall are Leather and Lace. I happen to like both of these trends; so I couldn't wait to feature them in a post. I have been looking for the perfect leather skirt, and when I saw this pleated leather skirt I knew it was a winner. I found it at JCPenney. I have been shopping at JCPenney for years, starting from a child when my mother used to walk us all around the store shopping for everything we needed for school. JCPenney is still one of my favorite places to shop. A lot of people don't realize that JCP is a one stop shop. You can find clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories, and much more. This post is not sponsored by JCP; I really just like the store.
Now back to this gorgeous pleated leather skirt, that I really love and it is still available online. It comes in sizes 14W - 24W and it is from the Worthington line. Worthington, Boutique+, or Ashley Nell Tipton's Line for Boutique+ are some of my favorite brands at JCP. To check out the Ashley Nell Tipton pleated leather skirt in a blush pink tone click here, and it comes in size 0X to 5X.
I thought pairing this skirt with a beautiful lace top would be a great way to combine two fall trends. Then I added a faux leather jacket to keep the dark edgy vibe I was going for. I also added some fringe booties. What do you guys think of pairing? I would love to hear your comments below. This top is actually a peplum top tucked into the skirt.
REMIX: For the Remix outfit I wanted it to still be fall appropriate, but more girly. So I paired the skirt with an off the shoulder burgundy top (which is actually a bodycon dress LOL). I like that it shows a little skin but not too much. Just enough for a good little shoulder shimmy shake (can you see me shoulder shimming now lol). I paired that with some beautiful heels with gold tipped laces from Lane Bryant. Then topped it off with a very fun and flirty felt black hat. Please comment below and let me know what you loves think of this pairing.
Thanks so much for reading my post and of course I love to hear your thoughts. How would you have worn the beautiful pleated leather skirt? How did you like the outfits I put together. What trends are you rocking this fall? I can't wait to hear from you.
Love & Kisses
